10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This year's theme is "Bison on the Horizon"
This free event is open to the public.
Activities include guided tours of prairie and savannas on foot or by vehicle, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music, kettle corn, raptor demonstrations, woodcarving, atlatl spear throwing, Native American pottery and bead making, butterfly and turtle hunts, a children’s tent, and more!

The preserve is located 3 miles northwest of Franklin Grove, on Lowden Road. Extra directional signs will be posted. Franklin Grove is two hours west of Chicago, and is celebrating that same day with three historical attractions nearby.
