Join us as we express our gratitude to all the volunteers who help restore and maintain Nachusa's habitat.

AGENDA

• 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM — Volunteers tour the recently acquired Juanita and Homer Williams tract 
• 12:00 PM – 2:00 — Lunch and a raffle
  Lunch will be provided by Nachusa Grasslands. The food will include vegan and vegetarian options from the Jamrah restaurant in Sycamore.

  ​MENU:

• Shish Kabob—marinated and grilled tender fillet of beef
• Kefta Kabob—marinated and grilled ground beef and lamb with onions, parsley and spices
• Shish Tawook (Chicken Kabob)
• Falafel
• Rice (not vegan, made with chicken-based stock)

• Hummus
• Jamrah Salad—parsley, tomatoes, green onion and cucumber
• Pita Bread
• Jamrah’s Green & Red Shatta Sauce, Pickles and Garlic Sauce (garlic sauce is not vegan)
• stuffed grape leaves
