Join Nachusa Grasslands staff and volunteers on hikes exploring preserve areas outside the bison units. Learn about our flora and fauna, management practices, and ways you can become involved in our efforts.
Guided Hikes take place throughout the summer at different times. Please arrive at the Visitor Center 15 minutes before the start of the hike, as the group will leave promptly. The outhouses are open. Participants will meet at the Nachusa Grasslands Visitor Center, 2075 Lowden Road, Franklin Grove, Illinois. After an introduction, participants will drive their own vehicle from the Visitor Center to the trailhead.
