Celebrating Decades of Prairie Engagement
By Heather Herakovich Take a look down memory lane! For decades, Nachusa Grasslands has hosted an annual prairie festival known as Autumn on the Prairie on the third Saturday in September. Over the last three decades, Autumn on the Prairie continues to evolve and engage visitors in what Nachusa Grasslands offers. 2023 was the 33rd year of Autumn on the Prairie and its continued success would not be possible without the many volunteers, staff, vendors, and visitors. Please enjoy this recap of the last three decades. |
