Plant Identification Signs
From spring to fall, plant signs will be installed along the trail. The signs include a QR code that can be scanned to learn more about various plants along the trail. The signs will be removed for fall burn season and will not return until spring.
Picture
Common milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) can been seen along the trail.

The trail meanders close to the bison unit, so keep a look-out for the herd. Remember to keep a 100-foot distance from the herd at all times. If the bison are too close to the fence, you may need to turn around.
