Dr. Richard King
NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY Department of Biological Sciences Endangered turtles at Nachusa! When you support our science program, this is where your money goes!
Friends has stayed local by supporting 25 research projects from Northern Illinois University, but our reach extends nationally, supporting scientists from Maryland and North Carolina and even internationally from Ontario, Canada. Do it for the turtles! Give today! |
Nathalie Baena-Bejarano
UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT URBANA-CHAMPAIGN PhD candidates We fund research to study many aspects of the prairie including reptiles, water quality, nesting birds, soil microbes and, as Katie and Nathalie tell us, poorly documented groups of insects. Their findings will directly inform on-the-ground land management at Nachusa!
We have a ways to go to secure the $20,000 match. Please consider supporting research at Nachusa! Participate in the Fundraising Challenge! |
Katie Wenzell

Conserving rare species and supporting women in science is what we do. Help us do more, give today! Each dollar you give is matched 100% until we reach our $20,000 goal! Participate in the Fundraising Challenge! |
