PRESCRIBED FIRE CREW RECRUITMENT
We need more prescribed fire volunteers for Middle Rock Conservation Partners and the Nachusa Grasslands Fire Crew.
For fire work, we need physically fit volunteers who are willing to do modest coursework and like working with others.

When: Saturday, October 12, from 10am to noon
Where: Nachusa Grasslands Headquarters, 8772 S. Lowden Road, Franklin Grove, IL
We will briefly discuss:
We will also look at fire equipment, fire breaks, and habitats that have received frequent fire.
Wear long pants and sturdy shoes, as we may be walking through tall vegetation.
